Electric cars are not eco-friendly! They are only as clean as the energy that powers them.

Since 2007 Etrel has designed and developed innovative charging solutions that help transform EVs from static consumers to essential tools in smart grid infrastructure. In July 2021, Etrel became part of Landis+Gyr, a leading global provider of integrated energy management solutions for the utility sector. The acquisition provided Etrel the much-needed acceleration on the growing e-mobility market.

Etrel product portfolio provides a stable and scalable solution to any charge point operator (CPO) and e-mobility service provider (EMP) who want to help EVs become an essential part of smart grids and facilitate the use of renewable energy for electric mobility.

ETREL AC charging stations cater to a variety of home or business use cases, offering advanced connectivity options, usage pattern recognition , and dynamic power management by interacting with the building or the grid. The product’s durability and design have been well received on the markets from the Faroe Islands to Australia.

OCEAN charging and energy management platform offers an end-to-end solution for any company aiming to provide excellent charging services to EV drivers or optimise its charging infrastructure management.  A white-label software package with tailored modules, multi-level user interfaces , and extensive integrations possibilities,  offers flexibility with no hidden fees.

Etrel Charging Products follow the principles of interactive charging, which involves 4 layers, namely interaction with the user, the building, the charging station network, and the electric grid.

As a Landis+Gyr company, Etrel continues to make a strong contribution to Smart Grid-oriented research and development projects, paving the way for a connected EV infrastructure and contributing to a greener world.
