The OSMOSE project gathers six transmission network operators (TSOs), eleven research partners and sixteen industry and market players (manufacturers, solution providers, producers, energy service companies) who address the need to identify and develop flexibilities required to integrate a high share of renewables (RES) in the energy system.

In accordance with European Commission (EC) and its document “Guidelines to the Rules on Open Access to Scientific Publications and Open Access to Research Data in Horizon 2020″ we would like to inform you that interested audience can attend this session free of charge!

Speakers

Nathalie Grisey is a power system engineer graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris. She works at RTE R&D for ten years. Her area of expertise are grid planning and electricity balancing.  She is the coordinator of the OSMOSE project.

Gorazd Ažman is Assistant Director for Strategic Innovation at Eles. Based on his prior working experience he is specialized for topics related to international energy trading, risk management, digitalization and business models evaluation and development. Within company he is covering initiatives and projects related to coupling with gas sector.

At his current position, he is fostering transformation of energy sector through digital innovation and encouraging coworkers to embrace innovation.

Miran Kavrečič coordinates the work in the department of general analytics development at HSE. The work of the department is focused on corporate, portfolio and partially on risk analytics where topics like optimal dispatch, portfolio management and planning are covered. Besides that he’s also involved in some research and development projects like OSMOSE.

Before current employment, at HSE he was working at Petrol, where he started as a trader and came to the head of business support for the power sector. The work there covered ETRM administration and support as well as coordination between different departments like trading desk, back office and risk management.

Leonardo Petrocchi, 30 years old energy engineer graduated in 2017 with honors at Politecnico di Torino, Italy, was hired in 2018 as an innovation specialist and project manager in Terna Spa, the Italian Transmission System Operator (TSO), and work as of today in the team of the Innovation Factory for the System Operator. Throughout his carreer, he has dealt with innovation project management and development in the fields of Smart Grids and Artificial Intelligence. Since 2019 he has been the leader of Work Package 5 of the H2020 OSMOSE project.
